Why are you at St. Ambrose?: There is no place in the world I'd rather work. We are blessed with the most wonderful students and staff.
Fun outside of school?: Believe it or not, the majority of my fun outside of school also includes reading and writing. I guess you could say I really love English!
Last book read/favorite book?: East of Eden by John Steinbeck
Favorite St. Ambrose Memory: On one of the first days of school this year, one of our Pre-K students was walking with her father past my classroom. I overheard the student say to her father: "Daddy, my heart feels happy here." That is one moment I will never forget.

Mariah holds a BA in English with a minor in Philosophy from SUNY Albany, and is currently persuing her MFA from the same school.
